The drama in Salem just keeps getting more intense. The story on March 9 was really emotional. Had a lot of surprises. There were some conversations, complicated relationships and a huge secret that could change everything.
Here is what happened in Salem.
Leo and Javis relationship is having some problems
The episode starts with Leo and Dimitri in Alamania. Dimitri gets up to get ready for the day. Then Leo gets a call from Javi. They talk about how they miss each other. Javi tells Leo that his dad is getting better. He also says he needed some space. He is glad Leo gave it to him.
Then Leo asks where they stand now. Javi says he still misses Leo and that his dad told him life is too short to let love go. This gives Leo hope that they might still be together.
Then things get complicated. Javi reminds Leo about the issues they had before. Leo had left Javi wondering if he was really committed to their relationship. This was because of Leos feelings for Dimitri.
Just as they are talking Dimitri walks out of the bathroom. Asks Leo where his phone is. Javi realizes what is going on. Feels betrayed. He hangs up the phone. Leo is left feeling terrible.
Later Dimitri sits next to Leo. Leo is still feeling guilty about what happened.
Gwen tries to get Melinda to help her
Gwen meets Melinda at the DiMera mansion. She wants Melinda to be her lawyer in her divorce case. Gwen says that Dimitri is not in town so he is not doing his job. Melinda listens,. She is not convinced.
Melinda says that even if Gwen is right she does not have any money to pay her. Gwen tries to persuade Melinda. She is not interested. Melinda says she believes in herself. She does not think Gwen is being honest.
Gabi and Theo are getting closer
Gabi and Theo run into each other in Horton Square. They talk about their lives and their jobs. They decide to grab a beer and talk some more. Gabi mentions that they should have a date when Stephanie is rescued. Theo says he should go home because his dad is worried about him. Before he leaves Gabi jokes about wanting to ride in his convertible.
Gabi and Melinda talk about Stefan
Melinda runs into Gabi again in Horton Square. This time they talk about something. Gabi says she thinks the divorce papers for Stefan might be fake. Melinda says she got the papers in the mail. She is not sure what is going on.
Gabi wonders if they will ever know the truth. Melinda asks if Gabi wants to fight the DiMera family. Gabi says she would not but she wants to protect Stefans memory. Melinda says they need proof if they want to reopen the case.
Then Javi calls Gabi. Tells her about his conversation with Leo. Gabi says Leo is with Dimitri and Javi realizes their relationship is over.
EJ reveals a secret
EJ shows Paulina a secret laboratory. Inside he reveals a body in a chamber. It is Lexie. Paulina is shocked and horrified. She does not understand how Lexie can be there after being dead for long.
EJ explains that his dad, Stefano felt guilty for Lexies death. He had Dr. Rolf preserve her body. EJ says that now they might be able to bring her to life.
Paulina is furious. Says this is dangerous and wrong. She wants to stop it. Ej says she can just walk away and pretend she did not see anything. He also reminds her that Abe and Theo might blame her if she stops the experiment.
Abe remembers Lexie
Abe is at the Brady Pub with Roman talking about Lexie. He says he has been thinking about her a lot. He remembers the video she made before she died where she was worried that Theo would forget her.
Abe loves Paulina. He says Lexie will always be in his heart.
Paulina keeps the truth hidden
Paulina goes home. Abe can tell something is wrong. She. Says she is fine. Later Abe asks if she learned anything, about EJs laboratory. Paulina lies again. Says she did not find out anything.
Paulinas decision to hide the truth might protect Abe for now. It could lead to bigger problems later.
